This is how it all started…
We got married in June of 2023! Living in a tiny apartment while Katy was finishing school, we began to travel. Since we lived in Tennessee, but both of our families are in the American Midwest, we began traveling out of necessity at first. This quickly changed to a desire to travel more. We have started by visiting different states in America, but also planned our first trip out of the country for our delayed honeymoon/one-year anniversary (updates to come on how that goes!)
As Christians, we realized that we want to experience more of God’s creation and experience more of the cultures of the people who are made in His image. The different ways that people practice being the body of Christ as well as, how they live their lives differently than we have, we want to experience what that is like. Our desire for an ever-expanding worldview has led us here. We hope by writing, photographing, and sharing our experiences that you will be able to come on the journey with us. We hope that by sharing how we are being formed by Christ and our experiences with others, you too will be able to grow and become curious about the world!
